The Centered Leadership Forum
Shaping generations of leaders through faith, friendship, and purpose
The Story of the Centered Leadership Forum (CLF)
The Centered Leadership Forum (CLF) is the continuation of a rich legacy spanning more than 30 years. It included the Washington Student Leadership program around the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast, where hundreds of students gathered for mentorship, leadership training, and faith formation. At the University of Washington, a group that came to be known as the Green Berets lived out deep discipleship, forming leaders who influenced their campuses and communities.
Home dinners, workplace boardroom gatherings along with our prayer breakfasts and The Weekend all became vital spaces for students and leaders to build real friendships, integrate faith and leadership, and pray together.
Today, all these experiences converge under CLF — featuring The Gathering, The Boardroom, and The Dinner — creating an intentional pathway for raising up generations of Jesus-centered leaders who will impact the world with integrity, compassion, and purpose.

The Gathering
The Gathering is a fun, relaxed space where generations come together to have fun, build community, and encourage one another in faith. Centered around recreation, food, conversation, sharing, and prayer, The Gathering creates an environment where authentic relationships can flourish across all ages.
At the heart of The Gathering is the belief that the key to navigating life journey lies in building intentional relationships centered around a shared commitment to following Jesus.
Our desire is to foster multi-generational friendships that provide young people with the encouragement, support, and guidance they need to thrive in their faith — while also giving those more seasoned in their faith the opportunity to live out Jesus’ call to make disciples.
The Gathering helps build these connections, and in doing so, we build a vibrant and dynamic Jesus-centered community that impacts lives for generations to come.

The Boardroom
The Boardroom is where leadership and faith meet in real-world settings. Marketplace leaders open their workplaces to students, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how they integrate their faith with their professional lives. In these gatherings, students hear real stories of leadership, integrity, and purpose — while building relationships that spark mentorship, friendship, and inspiration for the journey ahead.
Navigating transitions in life isn’t just about knowledge — it’s about walking alongside those who have gone before. The Boardroom fosters intentional, Jesus-centered relationships between emerging and established leaders, giving young people the vision, encouragement, and guidance they need to grow. It’s a dynamic, relational way to pass on wisdom, live out the call to make disciples, and strengthen a community of leaders who will carry Jesus’ heart into every sphere of influence.

The Dinner
The Dinner is a simple but powerful setting where deep friendships are formed — at the table, the way Jesus so often connected with people. In homes and welcoming spaces, students, leaders, and mentors come together over a shared meal, building community through conversation, encouragement, and prayer. The style is flexible — meals might be catered, home-cooked, or even prepared together — but the heart stays the same: creating a space where lives intersect meaningfully.
The Dinner is about gathering together the way Jesus did — meeting around the universal language of food, sharing life, and strengthening friendships across generations in a relaxed, authentic setting.
